| MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES |

In the antibody laboratory, we develop mono-
clonal antibodies against different antigens
provided by FMI members. We advise and
assist in the preparation of the antigen for
immunisation and in the development of an
assay for evaluation of the sera and the hy-
bridoma supernatants. We are equipped to
prepare, maintain and characterise mono-
clonal antibodies. Antibody production takes
about six months. The laboratory has facili-
ties for preparing, maintaining and freezing
hybridoma cells. This includes sterile hoods,
incubators, deep freezers, liquid nitrogen
containers, immunoassay reagents for anti-
body screening and an ELISA reader.
